To qualify for Massachusetts medical cannabis, patients suffering from one (1) or more of the following conditions may be approved for a medical marijuana license: Cancer, Glaucoma, HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis C, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Cohn’s Disease, Parkinson ’s disease, and MS. If one or more of these conditions are chronic or debilitating in a nature, a medical marijuana doctor may recommend the affected patient for medical cannabis to address these health problems. A qualified physician includes a licensed doctor, and other health care professionals under a physician’s supervision. Doctors have the responsibility of advising qualifying patients about the risks and benefits of the medical use of marijuana, providing qualifying patients with written certification, based upon a full assessment of the patient’s medical history and condition, that the medical use of marijuana may benefit a particular qualifying patient. Contact a medical marijuana registration company to get connected with a qualified medical marijuana physician in Massachusetts. Such a certification should only be made in the course of a bona fide physician-patient relationship.
